Yam Shalev: Life Lately (Painter’s Life)
In this unique exhibition, we admire painter Yam Shalev’s works that arise from a very personal perspective. His work acts as a lens to analyze human behavior and human interactions and with this project, the artist discovers new aspects of himself. In his new exhibition, he takes an introspective look at the festive, intimate, romantic and vulnerable human moments by identifying repeated objects and locations in these compositions, the viewer begins to interpret an experience, a culture, and a group of people without the participants included.

Athens Art Book Fair 2023
“Books are a uniquely portable magic,” once said Stephen King, and here at IN+SIGHTS GREECE we couldn’t agree more. And this weekend we can’t wait to head over to the annual Athens Art Book Fair 2023 – a celebration created by a passionate community supporting art books and independent publishers. This year there will be over 80 exhibitors showcasing experimental forms, as well as a collective display of 50+ artists from Greece and around the world. Amongst this edition’s publishers, you will find the outstanding, Aegean-inspired kyklàda.press, and the enigmatic Prague-based printing press Kudla. So, get ready to thumb through a variety of books from all around the globe.

Oktoberfest 23 in Athens
