Brunch Time 

Blends Mix & Match– From scrambled eggs, pancakes, muffins, cakes, and tarts to tasty salads with quinoa; we recommend you try the incredibly fluffy carrot cake and the “Bougatsan” a flaky croissant with soft cream on the inside. (Fivis 19 & Laodikis)

Oh Mama– Found in a restored mansion with a nice courtyard, this place is famous for its hearty brunches (served daily till 6 pm) and cheerful atmosphere. Be sure to try the Nutella Sushi Rolls; sushi-shaped pancakes with banana, grated biscuits and icing sugar- all dipped in Nutella! Or the divine eggs benedict with poached eggs placed on fluffy English muffins, crispy onions, bacon, chives, and Hollandaise sauce. (Kyprou 48)

Charlie Dos– Vintage aesthetics paired with classic egg options including “Kagianas” (Greek-style eggs with tomato) and perfectly cooked omelettes- the best energy boost to start the day right. (Pandoras 14)

Su Casa– a cozy space that’s found in a restored family house of the 1950s, it’s located right on Nymfeon Square. (Kyprou 82)

Vintage Tostou– with its vintage dining tables, beautiful crystal chandeliers, and pastel shades this is another warm and inviting little spot. (Lazaridi 8)

Tartare– Original French cuisine in a cozy, bistro-like environment that’s located near the beautiful golf course of Glyfada. Tartare’s menu is filled with French delicacies such as bourguignon snails, entrecote café de Paris and steak tartare. (Al. Panagouli 52)

Ark offers signature dishes that are inspired by the Aegean Sea. Along with the masterly crafted menu, you can also choose from an exceptional range of wines, beers, and distillates from local producers.

Holy Spirit Cocktail Bar – the place to go if you want to grab one of the best drinks in the neighbourhood. (Laodikis 41)

Treat Yourself 

Ourse– this elegant patisserie introduces us to a haute version of modern French pastries. (Mystra 39)

Culture Fix 

The Blender Gallery– A multi-functional art space; this contemporary art gallery also features unique event spaces. (Zisimopoulou 4)

“Street of Poets”– Running from the centre of Glyfada all the way down to the beach, along the way you’ll find Stanzas by Greek poets displayed on the pedestrianized street and benches. Allowing you to travel through time with Greek literature.

The Ellinikon Experience Park– Designed to create a new green oasis for Athenians, while being a model of sustainable living and recreation, it offers a range of fun for people of all ages and interests.

Chariton Square– Located near the shopping center of Glyfada, on Lambraki Street, this is one of the largest entertainment venues in all of Attica. 

The Archelon Sea Turtle Rescue Centre, is where you can visit injured turtles being nursed back to health.

Insider Tip:

Glyfada’s laiki (markets), is held each Thursday, on Lazaraki Street, it’s one of the city’s most popular and well-stocked editions of the freshest seasonal produce. 

How to get there? 

Athens Metro reaches Elliniko station at Vouliagmenis Avenue and from there, you have to continue by taxi. Alternatively, you can go by Metro to the stations Syggrou – Fix or Neos Kosmos, and from there you can continue by Tram until the center of Glyfada.
