Sunset Grooves by METAXA at SNFCC
This August, as the golden hour paints Athens in warm hues, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre (SNFCC) invites you to unwind with Sunset Grooves by METAXA, a series of open-air DJ evenings where music, city views, and signature cocktails come together.
Some of Greece’s most eclectic DJs will take you on a journey through soul, funk, trip hop, electronica, and world beats, all set against the mesmerising backdrop of the Acropolis, the sea, and the endless Athenian sky, in the magical lighthouse terrace with its 360° panorama.

Park Your Cinema 2025 SNFCC
Get ready to spread out your picnic blankets, settle in under the night sky, and let yourself be swept away by cinematic magic Park Your Cinema returns this summer to the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC). From June through August, the Great Lawn transforms into a starlit open-air cinema, hosting a specially curated program by the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, featuring timeless classics and family favourites. With free admission and the serene ambiance of the SNFCC grounds, it’s the perfect way to spend warm summer evenings with friends and loved ones.

Under the glow of the August full moon, The Foundry’s lush rooftop garden transforms into one of Athens’s most atmospheric evenings- just steps from the city’s bustling heart.
Expect a relaxed night curated by DJ Chevy, who will guide the rhythms from sunset to starlight. With the illuminated Parthenon as your backdrop, you’re invited to unwind while the city hums below. Think no pressure, just presence: the music, the moon, and you.
