Dior Shoots New Sneaker Campaign at Historic Greek Landmark

Stunning new images have been released of Dior’s Cruise 2022 sneaker campaign- shot against the backdrop of Greece’s historic landmark- the Temple of Zeus in Nemea.

Showcasing the brand’s latest Dior Vibe sneaker range, the campaign highlights the contemporary sports shoe collection that has been designed by creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri, “combining a running shoe spirit with fashionable details, with a play of materials enhanced by gold or silver inserts. The D-Zenith merges the streamlined elegance of heels with the comfort of lace-up leather sneakers,” states Dior.

Dior’s entire 2022 Cruise Collection was unveiled at the Panathenaic Stadium in Athens in June this year. It was the ideal place to showcase the modern pieces that are inspired by Ancient Greek sites, temples, and costumes; and as a whole focus on rethinking the purpose of fashion.

In this collection, Chiuri has ventured into uncharted territory- showcasing a modern series of sneaker designs, which were paired not only with casual outfits but also with a series of Grecian-inspired evening dresses.

Using a classic running sneaker shape, the footwear features metallic accents and matches the hues of their ready-to-wear garments- including a range of Hellenic-blue and white print t-shirts, pants, shorts, and sports socks adorned with the name “Christian Dior”, the refined signature of these new pieces.
