Athens Authentic Marathon
This November, Athens welcomes the 42nd Classic Marathon, a celebrated event that continues to honor its legacy as the world’s original modern marathon. Thousands of runners and spectators from around the globe gather to experience the thrill of tracing the historic 42 km route from Marathon to Athens, retracing the legendary run of the Greek soldier Pheidippides in 490 BC.
